Process for Successful Results

Having veneers placed on your teeth requires that your teeth are first shaped or prepped. This process usually entails filing them down so that the veneer covering will fit properly. Once your teeth are prepared, an impression is made of your teeth so that your veneers will have a precision fit. Dr. Craig Mabrito and Dr. Ximena Camacho will apply a temporary resin to the tooth or teeth that will have veneers attached to simulate the final results. You wear this material for a week or two until your jaw is comfortable with the change. Adjustments can be made during this time in order to achieve the optimal results. Your veneers will then be made according to the shape of the temporary resin. When it is time to place your veneers, our dentist takes great care in making sure there is a proper fit. Once the fit, shape, and size are right, the veneers are bonded to your prepared teeth.
